The surgery provides specialist services to promote good healthcare and extended primary care services for the patients. An appointment can be made for these clinics at the reception desk.
An INR Check clinic is run at the practice every Tuesday morning between 9am and 11am by a pharmacist. Patients who are already on warfarin medication or need to start warfarin can make an appointment in the clinic.
At Kumar Medical Centre, we are offer some minor operations including excisions of skin lumps and removals of skin tags. Please arrange an appointment with one of our doctors for an assessment. If the GP feels the procedure is appropriate, then a minor surgery appointment can be arranged.
The doctors at the practice are able to perform joint injections. After a consultation with the GP, an appointment can be arranged if appropriate.
IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies)
This is a free and confidential service run by a trained team of advisors and therapists. They are available to talk you through your problems and help you to develop coping strategies to manage lifes’ difficulties. This service is available in-house every Wednesday between 3pm-5pm.
If you would like to see the therapist, please make an appointment with the GP who can then make a referral on your behalf.
